Jalen Kimber (6-1.5, 180) currently attends Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington. He committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over offers from several schools, including Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas, and others.
In the 247Sports Composite, Jalen Kimber is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 16 cornerback, and the No. 239 overall recruit for the 2020 class.
Rivals.com rates Kimber as a three-star recruit, the No. 28 cornerback, and the No. 45 recruit in the state of Texas.
“From start to finish, it was a great experience,” Kimber told Rivals.com. “I’m glad I was able to get out and see other campuses besides Texas. I hadn’t seen anything besides Texas and Oklahoma, so my first time to be able to get out and experience different colleges and different starts, it was really good timing.”
Kimber is the 6th verbal commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs for the class of 2020. He joins QB Carson Beck, DT Jamil Burroughs, OT Broderick Jones, DT Nazir Stackhouse, and WR Justin Robinson.
