Four-star DT Jamil Burroughs commits to UGA for 2020
The Georgia Bulldogs have picked up a verbal commitment, their 3rd for the class of 2020, from four-star defense tackle Jamil Burroughs of Powder Springs, GA (McEachern).
Burroughs announced his commitment to the Dawgs in a video that was posted this afternoon via his Twitter account.

Burroughs (6-3, 320) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over offers from most of the top schools, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Michigan, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.
In the 247Sports Composite, Jamil Burroughs is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 4 defensive tackle, and the No. 63 recruit for the 2020 class.
Rivals.comĀ also rates Burroughs as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 defensive tackle, and No. 95 in the Rivals100 2020.
The addition of Jamil Burroughs moves Georgia’s 2020 class up a few notches to No. 3 in the nation, per 247Sports. Georgia’s 2019 class is currently rated No. 1.
