Georgia ranked 4th in 2018 preseason Coaches Poll

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 4th in the 2018 preseason Amway Coaches Poll Top 25. UGA, who finished 13-2 overall and 7-1 in the SEC in 2017, received a total of 1,452 points.

Only two of Georgia’s 2018 opponents are ranked in the preseason poll. Auburn is ranked 10th and LSU is ranked 24th.

Alabama tops the preseason Top 25 rankings. SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 include Alabama (1st), Georgia, (4th),  Auburn (10th), Mississippi State (18th), and LSU (24th).

The SEC. Big Ten, and Big 12 lead all conferences with five teams each in the Top 25 poll. The ACC is second with four teams, followed by the Pac-12 with three, and the American, Mountain West, and Independents with one each.
