UGA football has picked up their second commitment for the class of 2020, per a report from DawgNation.

According to the report, four-star offensive tackle Broderick Jones of Lithonia, Georgia gave his commitment to offensive line coach Sam Pittman a couple of months ago. He then committed to head coach Kirby Smart last month.

“First off, it is close to home,” Jones told DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell. “Then I just like the coaching staff. The coaching staff is great. Energetic. Alive. It is just like they treat me like family and I just like that feeling I have at Georgia.”

Jones (6-6, 275) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Maryland, and Tennessee.

247Sports rates Broderick Jones as a four-star recruit, the No. 6 offensive tackle, and the No. 35 overall recruit for 2020.

Broderick Jones is also rated four-stars by Rivals.com.

Georgia now has two commitments for the 2020 class to go along with the seven they have committed for 2019. Per 247Sports, Georgia’s 2019 class is currently rated 9th in the country.
