Linebacker Roquan Smith was the first Bulldog drafted. He was selected eighth overall by the Chicago Bears.

Two more Bulldogs were selected in the first round, giving Georgia a record three players overall in the first round for the first time ever. Offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn (23rd overall) and running back Sony Michel (31st overall) were both selected by the New England Patriots.

Roquan Smith hails from Montezuma, Georgia and played at Montezuma County High School. He signed with the Georgia Bulldogs in 2015.

A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Isaiah Wynn signed with the Bulldogs in 2014 out of Lakewood High School. Wynn played in a total of 51 games for UGA, including a career-high 15 during Georgia’s SEC Championship and Rose Bowl run.

Sony Michel also signed with Georgia in 2014. He hails from Plantation, Florida and played at American Heritage High School.

Michel played in 47 games during his four seasons as a Bulldog. He rushed 590 times for 3,613 yards (6.1 avg.) and scored 33 touchdowns. He also caught 64 passes for 621 yards and six touchdowns.

Nick Chubb is expected to be drafted in the second round. Lorenzo Carter and Trenton Thompson are also considered by some to be day two selections. Javon Wims, John Atkins, and Davin Bellamy could be drafted on Saturday.
