UGA moves up to No. 6 in College Football Playoff rankings
UGA football has moved up one spot to No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings for Nov. 28 following their 38-7 win over Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Clemson moved into the top spot after defeating South Carolina coupled with an Alabama loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Auburn moved up to the No. 2 spot, with Oklahoma third and Wisconsin fourth.
Alabama dropped from first to fifth, and the Georgia Bulldogs are just behind in sixth place.
The Bulldogs are still in great position to be selected to the College Football Playoff if they defeat Auburn in the SEC Championship Game.

On Sunday, Dec. 3 at noon ET on ESPN, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee will announce the Playoff Semifinal pairings and semifinal bowl assignments.
Those will be followed by the pairings for the remainder of the New Year’s Six bowl games.
