College football rankings: UGA moves up for Week 6

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated Tennessee 41-0 on Saturday, have moved up in the college football rankings for Week 6.

Georgia moved up two spots to 5th in the AP Poll and two spots to 6th in the Coaches Poll.

The Bulldogs received 1,237points in the AP Poll, which is 101 more than they received in the Week 5 poll. In the Coaches Poll, UGA received 1,265 points, up 176 points from last week.

Georgia’s next game is Saturday, Oct. 7 in Nashville against the Vanderbilt Commodores (Noon ET, ESPN). The Commodores defeated the Bulldogs last season in Athens 17-16.
