The SEC portion of Georgia’s 2017-18 basketball schedule has been announced. The Bulldogs open up SEC play on New Year’s Eve at Kentucky.

“I think this schedule is great for our fans because we have a significant number of Saturday home games,” head coach Mark Fox said. “Certainly having Saturday games is more fan-friendly. Hopefully, it will help give our football program some good recruiting weekends, too.”

Georgia will host Ole Miss (Wed., Jan. 3), Alabama (Sat., Jan. 6), South Carolina (Sat., Jan. 13), Arkansas (Tue., Jan. 23), Florida (Tue., Jan. 30), Auburn (Sat., Feb. 10), Tennessee (Sat., Feb. 17), LSU (Sat., Feb. 24), and Texas A&M (Wed., Feb. 28).

In addition to the game at Kentucky, the Bulldogs will travel to face Auburn, Florida, LSU, Missouri, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Georgia opens the 2017-18 season at home on Friday, Nov. 10 against Bryant.
