Heading into Friday, the Georgia Bulldogs only had three commitments for the class of 2018. They nearly doubled that number Friday evening when they received pledges from Warren Ericson and Rachad Wildgoose Jr.
Warren Ericson is a 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive lineman out of Suwanee, Georgia (North Gwinnett). He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from most of the top schools, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, and USC.
In the 247Sports Composite, Ericson is listed as a four-star recruit, the No. 16 offensive guard, and the No. 33 overall recruit for the 2018 class.
Rachad Wildgoose Jr. is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound defensive back out of Miami, Florida (Northwestern). He committed to UGA over offers from Rutgers, FIU, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Maryland, NC State, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Purdue, Temple, UCF, Wisconsin, and others.
247Sports lists Wildgoose as a two-star recruit, the No. 116 safety, and the No. 1585 overall recruit for 2018.
With the addition of Eriscon and Wildgoose Jr., the Bulldogs now have five commitments for the 2018 class.
