ATHENS, Ga. – The Bulldogs had three players on the Associated Press All-Southeastern Conference Football Teams, according to an announcement on Monday.

Senior offensive tackle John Theus (Jacksonville, Fla.) was named to the First Team after also being included on the Coaches All-SEC First Team last week. Sophomore defensive back Dominick Sanders (Tucker, Ga.), who was on the Coaches Second Team, was also an AP First Team selection.

In addition, junior center/guard Brandon Kublanow (Marietta, Ga.) was named to the AP Second Team. Kublanow started the first 10 games of the 2015 season at center before taking over as the starting right guard in the last two contests.

Georgia (9-3, 5-3 SEC) takes on Penn State (7-5, 4-4 Big Ten) in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla., on Jan. 2. ESPN will televise the matchup between the Bulldogs and Nittany Lions at 12 p.m.
