UGA redshirt freshman Detric Bing-Duke will transfer to another school, head coach Mark Richt announced on Saturday.
Bing-Dukes, who redshirted last season, is transferring from Georgia in order to find more playing time.
“Detric has been an outstanding Bulldog and I understand his decision and desire to have a better opportunity,” said Richt. “We will do anything we can to assist him in the transition and wish him great success.”
Detric Bing-Dukes (6-0, 230) signed with the Dawgs in February of 2014. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia (Tucker High School) and was rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com.
“I love Georgia and appreciate the opportunity I had to be a Bulldog,” said Bing-Dukes. “However, I think my opportunities to play and contribute more will be better at another school.”
