UGA basketball to play at Baylor in Big 12-SEC Challenge

The Georgia Bulldogs will play at the Baylor Bears in one of 10 games in the 2016 Big 12-SEC Challenge, the SEC announced today.

Georgia will visit Baylor on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools on the basketball court.

Baylor, like Georgia, played in the NCAA Tournament this past season. The Bears are expected to be a preseason Top 25 team in 2015.

According to the SEC release, eight of the 10 games will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2 and two games will air on ESPNU. All 10 games will be available online via WatchESPN.

Georgia now has seven non-conference games lined up for the 2015-16 season. The Bulldogs are slated to open the season at home vs. UT Chattanooga on Nov. 13. Other games include at Seton Hall (Nov. 28), vs. Kansas State (Dec. 4), vs. Winthrop (Dec. 8), vs. Georgia Tech (Dec. 19), and vs. Clemson (Dec. 22).
