4-Star DT Tyler Clark commits to UGA for 2016
Four-star defensive tackle Tyler Clark of Americus, Georgia (Americus Sumter) has committed to Georgia for the class of 2016.
Clark announced his commitment to the Bulldogs tonight at his spring game.
“I love the coaches,” Clark told Dawgs247. “We have like a bond. I love the school, atmosphere and the environment around Georgia.”
Clark (6-3, 290) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Auburn, Louisville, and Wake Forest. He also had interest from Clemson and Tennessee.
In the 247Sports Composite rankings, Tyler Clark is listed as a 4-star recruit, the No. 22 defensive tackle, and the No. 238 overall recruit.
Barnes is also listed as a 4-star recruit by both Rivals.com and Scout.com.
Georgia now has 11 commitments for the class of 2016 and their class is currently ranked 5th by 247Sports.
Clark is the second commitment along the defensive line for next season. He joins defensive end Chauncey Manac, who is also rated four stars.
