The Georgia-Auburn game in Athens on Nov. 15 has been placed on a 6-day hold, the SEC announced today.
The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30pm ET or ESPN at 7:15pm ET. Kickoff time and television coverage will be finalized after the games on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Mississippi State at Alabama is the other game that was placed on a 6-day hold. If Georgia-Auburn ends up at 7:15 on ESPN, it would be the latest game at Sanford Stadium this season.
Georgia has played on CBS three times this season (at South Carolina, vs. Missouri, vs. Florida) and three times on ESPN (vs. Clemson, vs. Tennessee, at Kentucky 11/8).
The Bulldogs (6-2, 4-2 SEC) travel to Lexington this weekend to take on Kentucky (Noon, ESPN).

I do not understand where this is coming from, hope someone can enlighten me. This article says GA-Auburn placed on 6 day hold, Seems to me it is not even placed on 6 hrs. hold let alone 6 days. I know I am up in years but will some one tell me how they get 6 days from 3:30pm - 7:15pm; that is not quiet 4 hrs. How some just butchers the English language, think they meant to say 6 hours hold!!. Oh well guess I am still upset about the GA.-Fla. Game.. Told those boys/guys not to go down there overconfident, but think they did; at least their actions indicated that they did. OK, boys; get over it and prepare to win at KY. now..
What they are saying is: the decision as to what TIME to air the Ga-Auburn game ( 3:30 or 7:15) will be decided in 6 days on Nov. 8th. Sunday. I think they want to see how Ga fares against Ky. before they commit to the time for the following weekend.
Thank You Mary. That makes more sense.
Yes indeed, that does make more sense; Thanks from me also!...
CBS has the first shot on who they want to televise and ESPN will take the other game. Personally I would prefer to be on ESPN because I can't stand Gary Danielson on CBS.
