Georgia football to host UL Lafayette in 2016
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to host the UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in 2016, according to a memorandum of understanding obtained by DogBytesOnline.
Georgia will host UL Lafayette in Athens on Nov. 19, 2016. The Ragin’ Cajuns will receive a guarantee of $1.2 million.
The Bulldogs and Cajuns first met on the football field in Athens back in 2010. Georgia won that contest 55-7.
Georgia now has three non-conference games slated for 2016. The Bulldogs are also scheduled to host Georgia Tech on the final weekend of the season (Nov. 26) and Nicholls State on a date to be determined.
The Bulldogs will play SEC games at home against Auburn, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt and will travel to Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, and South Carolina. Georgia will also take on Florida in Jacksonville on Oct. 29.
