UGA has moved up six spots to No. 6 in the AP Poll for Week 2. The Bulldogs are ranked 8th in the Coaches Poll, which was released earlier today.
Georgia received two first-place votes, one more than they did in the Coaches Poll, and 1,114 points overall. Florida State remains No. 1 with 46 first-place votes. Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Auburn round out the Top 5.
Other teams to receive first-place votes include No. 2 Alabama (1), No. 3 Oregon (5), No. 4 Oklahoma (2), No. 9 Texas A&M (2), and No. 12 LSU (1).
Texas A&M made the biggest jump up in the AP Poll, moving up to 9th from 21st.
Georgia’s next game is Saturday, Sept. 13 at South Carolina (3:30pm ET, CBS).

#6 is pretty good but think that as well as we did we should have been at least 4. Auburn & GA. had the same identical score, wonder how many saw that? Can hardly wait to give S.C. & the "Ball Coach" a whalloping!!...
