The Georgia Bulldogs are set to host the Nicholls State Colonels in 2016, according to a memorandum of understanding obtained from UGA by SicEmDawgs.com.

An exact date of the game will be determined at a later date. Georgia and Nicholls State have never met on the football field.

Nicholls State, a member of the Southland Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision, will receive a $525,000 guarantee for playing the game.

Georgia now has two non-conference games slated for 2016. The Bulldogs are also scheduled to host Georgia Tech on the final weekend of the season (Nov. 26).

The Bulldogs will play SEC games at home against Auburn, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt and will travel to Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, and South Carolina. Georgia will also take on Florida in Jacksonville on Oct. 29.
