3-Star RB Chris Carson commits to the Bulldogs
The Georgia Bulldogs have received their 16th verbal commitment for the 2015 recruiting class, this one from running back Chris Carson.
Carson graduated from Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia and currently plays for Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kansas.
Last night, he told Rusty Mansell of Dawgs247 about his recent visit to UGA.
“I liked it a lot, they answered a lot of questions I had,” Carson said.”I enjoyed myself. Me, my Mom, Dad, and little brother went. My parents liked the academic part of it, my Mom was sold on it then.”
“I thought they were going to offer me in high school, but I had to go to junior college, ” he said. “They came by and saw me back in spring time, we have been talking for a while. I was expected them to offer me, coach (Bryan) McClendon told he wanted too.”
Carson (6-1, 210, 4.45) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Cincinnati, Colorado State, Iowa State, and Utah State.
He hopes to enroll at UGA in January and will have three years to play two.
Chris Carson is rated as a 3-star recruit and No. 68 in the Rivals.com junior college preseason 100 for 2015.
