3-Star DL Justin Young Commits to the Georgia Bulldogs for 2015

Defensive lineman Justin Young of Loganville, GA has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs and is the 6th verbal commitment for the class of 2015.

“There ain’t nothing like playing for the home state,” Young told Dawsg247. “Coach Richt got really excited and gave me a big bear hug. It feels good to be a Bulldog and I feel really blessed, because not too many get this opportunity, or any school.”

Young (6-3, 255) plays for Grayson High School. He also had offers from Clemson, Marshall, and UAB and interest from Alabama.

247Sports rates Justin Young as a 3-star recruit, the No. 38 defensive tackle, and No. 69 overall in Georgia. Scout.com also rates Young as a 3-star recruit and the No. 44 defensive tackle in the country.

  • His highlight film shows a quick, explosive D Lineman. I don't know what separates him from higher rated linemen but if Young is a 3 star I would be glad to have all 3 stars.

  • I saw his coach quoted before the season saying he was going to be as good as anyone he has had at Grayson. Pretty high praise since I heard they had a good DL that went to Ol Miss not long ago.
