Tracy Rocker will be the new Georgia Bulldogs defensive line coach, according to multiple reports and Rocker himself.
Confirmation of Rocker’s hiring was first reported this morning by Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.
Seth Emerson of Macon.com then spoke to Tracy Rocker, who confirmed the news first-hand.
“Yeah, I’ll be there,” Rocker said. “I’m just here getting stuff packed up here in Nashville. I’ll be down there in the early part of next week.
“Very excited And I’m moreso excited to be joining the staff, based on the people I’ve met.”
Rocker spent the past three seasons as the defensive line coach with the Tennessee Titans. He was not retained after the Titans fired head coach Mike Munchak.
Prior to his stint in the NFL, Rocker was the defensive line coach at Auburn from 2009 through 2011. He is a native of Atlanta and played high school football at Fulton High School, which later merged with Walter F. George High School to become South Atlanta High School.

awesome
Woof!!!
Wilson did an excellent job of coaching our DL. Rocker has some large shoes to fill. I hope he's up to the task. We all know what happened the last time a AU grad coached our DL... years of mediocrity and piss poor recruiting.
