4-Star CB Brendan Langley commits to Georgia
4-star cornerback Brendan Langley of Marietta, GA has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Langley was committed to South Carolina, but has now switched to UGA.
“I called Coach (Mark) Richt and told him I’m a Dawg,” Langley told UGASports.com.
Langley (6-1, 188) plays for Kell High School in Marietta. Besides the Gamecocks, he had offers from several top schools including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Miami (FL), Nebraska, Tennessee, and UCLA.
Rivals.com rates Langley 4-stars, the no. 29 cornerback, and no. 250 in the Rivals250 2013. Scout.com also rates him 4-stars and the no. 14 cornerback in the country.
Langley plans to graduate from high school in December and enroll at UGA in January. He is the 28th commitment for UGA’s 2013 recruiting class and the third cornerback.
