2012 Legends Classic bracket released

The 2012 Legends Classic basketball tournament bracket was officially released today. Georgia will host two games in Athens before facing Indiana in the semifinals.

The Hoop Dawgs will host the Youngstown State Penguins on Monday, November 12 to kick off the Athens Regional. The game will be televised by ESPNU at 7 p.m. ET.

UGA will then host the Southern Miss Golden Eagles on Thursday, November 15. Time and TV for that game will be announced at a later date.

The semifinals will be held at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Georgia will take on Indiana on Monday, Nov. 19 (5:30 p.m. ET, ESPNU). In the other semifinal game, UCLA will face Georgetown (8 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

The Bulldogs will then face either UCLA or Georgetown in the championship game or the consolation game on Tuesday, November 20.

The announcement of the regional games fills the final hole in Georgia’s 2012-13 non-conference basketball schedule. Last week, we obtained a tentative copy of Georgia’s full schedule, including SEC games.
