Georgia picked to win SEC East, face LSU in Championship Game

The Georgia Bulldogs were picked by the SEC media today to win the SEC East and face the LSU Tigers in the SEC Championship Game.
Georgia received 132 first-place votes. South Carolina was second with 72 followed by Florida with 12. In the SEC West, LSU led the voting with 139 followed by Alabama with 72.
LSU received the most votes (129) and was predicted to win the 2012 SEC Championship Game.
