Auburn beats Georgia 59-51
Georgia made only 13 of 52 field goal attempts (25%) en route to a 59-51 loss at Auburn. The loss drops Georgia to 10-11 overall and 1-6 in the SEC.
As has been the story all season, Georgia couldn’t put it together offensively. The Dawgs managed to score only 15 points in the first half, but luckily only trailed by 11 at the break.
A 12-4 run by the Bulldogs to start the second half got them back into the game, but their same shooting woes eventually led to another SEC defeat.
Gerald Robinson led the Bulldogs with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Dustin Ware added 10 points while Donte Williams scored 9 and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 6 in the losing effort.
Georgia’s next game is Saturday, Feb. 4 at Tennessee. The game will be televised by FSN at 4:00 p.m. ET.
