SicEmDawgs.com

Jordan JenkinsDefensive end/outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Jenkins announced his decision on “The Next Class” on Fox Sports South.

Jenkins (6-3, 245, 4.67) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from all of the top schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Rivals.com ranks Jenkins as a 4-star recruit, the no. 6 weakside defensive end and no. 65 overall. Scout.com rates him as a 5-star recruit and the no. 5 defensive end in the nation.

Jenkins, who plays for Harris County High School in Hamilton, Georgia, is UGA’s 16th verbal commitment for the 2012 recruiting class. The Dawgs already have four commitments from recruits that play on the line, but Jenkins will most likely play will linebacker between the hedges.
