2012 JUCO offensive lineman Mark Beard has signed with the Georgia Bulldogs. Beard faxed his Letter of Intent to UGA on Wednesday.
Beard, who committed to the Dawgs on December 14, attends Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. The Rivals 3-star recruit committed to Georgia over offers from Houston, Mississippi State, South Alabama, Troy and UAB.
Mark Beard is the first signee for Georgia’s 2012 class. He will enroll at UGA in January. Other commitments exepcted to enroll early are Keith Marshall and Faton Bauta.
National Signing Day begins on Wednesday, Feb. 1 and extends through April 1, 2012.
