2011 Progressive CBE ClassicThe 18th ranked California Golden Bears rolled over the Georgia Bulldogs 70-46 in the semifinals of the 2011 Progressive CBE Classic Tuesday night.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 3-1 on the season. Georgia will now face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the consolation game tonight at 7:45 p.m. ET (ESPNU).

Georgia led the game 25-22 with about 5 minutes remaining in the first half. But a 14-0 Cal run put the Hoop Dawgs down 36-25 at half. That run and some sloppy play drew the ire of head coach Mark Fox.

With 17:53 left in the game, the Bulldogs trailed 39-29. But another 14-0 run by the Golden Bears doomed the young Georgia team which never got any closer.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the Dawgs with 10 points, but he only made 4-of-13 shots. Gerald Robinson added 9 points but played only 19 minutes.

Nemanja Djurisic, who was a bright spot for Georgia, came off the bench to score 9 points and grabbed 3 rebounds.
