UGA’s Aron White named to 2011 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

Georgia Bulldogs Senior tight end Aron White has been named to the 2011 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®. This prestigious community service award is given to student-athletes for their dedication to improving the lives of others, in addition to maintaining good academic standing.

White was surprised with the news by fifth grade students from Barrow Elementary School. The touching moment was caught on video (see below).

The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® is comprised of 11 players from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and 11 players selected from the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision, Divisions II, III, and NAIA.
