Freshman LB Ray Drew listed as “day-to-day” after scooter accident
UGA freshman linebacker Ray Drew has been listed as “day-to-day” after injuring his shoulder in a scooter accident, the school announced today.
Drew, on his way home from church, lost control of his scooter and sprained his right shoulder. No charges were filed by the Athens-Clarke County Police who responded to the incident.
Drew is the second Bulldog to injure himself on a scooter in as many months. Derrick Lott injured his right leg last month when he tried to squeeze between the Butts-Mehre building and a vehicle.
After the accident and subsequent news release, Drew posted the following tweet on his Twitter account: “I’m so glad I don’t look like what I’ve been through . . . praise God.”
