Jenkins County Duo Jonathan Taylor and James DeLoach Commit to Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs have received verbal commitments from Jenkins County defensive duo Jonathan Taylor and James DeLoach. The teammates are the 3rd and 4th commitments for the Dawgs over the weekend and the 9th and 10th overall for 2012.

Jonathan Taylor (6-4, 315) plays defensive tackle for Jenkins County. He committed to UGA over offers from all the top schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee and others.

Taylor is rated no. 1 in Georgia in the UGASports.com Top 75 Post-Spring rankings and is a 4-star recruit according to Rivals.com. Scout.com also rates him a 4-star recruit and the no. 9 defensive tackle in the country.

James DeLoach (6-3, 260) plays defensive end for Jenkins. He also had and offer list that closely resembled that of Taylor’s.

DeLoach is rated no. 44 in the state of Georgia by UGASports.com. Scout.com rates him as a 3-star recruit and the no. 59 defensive end in the country.
