Georgia to face Cincinnati in 2011 Big East/SEC Challenge
The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Cincinnati Bearcats in the 2011 Big East/SEC Challenge. The game will be played on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens.
“We’re very excited to be participating in this great event again,” Georgia head coach Mark Fox said. “Cincinnati will certainly prove to be a formidable opponent for our young team, and we are happy to be playing this game in Athens. The move to campus venues, in fact, should give the event a new feature that will be great for fans of both leagues.”The game will be the first ever between Georgia and Cincinnati. The Bearcats finished the 2010-11 season 26-9 overall (11-7 Big East) and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
