California, Missouri and Notre Dame are the other three teams that will participate in the 2011 CBE Classic Tournament, the Athens Banner-Herald has reported. News that Georgia would participate was learned last month.
The basketball tournament will feature a total of four games for the Dawgs. Two regional games will be played in Athens between November 13 and November 17. The semifinals, championship and consolation games will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri November 21 and 22.
The format for the tournament will be released at a later date. Listed below are Georgia’s overall records against the three participants:
- California (0-1) **2002 victory by Georgia vacated due to NCAA sanctions.
- Missouri (0-2)
- Notre Dame (0-2)
