Dawgs beat Arkansas 60-59 on Thompkins Free Throw
Trey Thompkins hit a free throw with 1.4 seconds left to give the Georgia Bulldogs a 60-59 win over Arkansas in Fayetteville on Wednesday evening.
The win improves Georgia’s record to 15-6 overall and 4-4 in the SEC.
Georgia led by six with 3:49 remaining in the game, but a 6-0 run by the Razorbacks tied the score and set the stage for Thompkins to win the game.
Gerald Robinson led the Hoop Dawgs with 14 points. Trey Thompkins scored 12 and Jeremy Price added 11.
Next up for Georgia is a home game against Auburn on Saturday, February 5. The game will be televised by the SEC Network at 1:30 p.m. ET.
