OT Xzavier Ward commits to the Bulldogs

Offensive tackle Xzavier Ward of Moultrie (Colquitt County) has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Ward is the 22nd commitment for the Dawgs.

Ward (6-7, 255) committed to UGA over offers from top schools including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Rivals.com rates Mitchell as a three-star recruit and the no. 42 offensive tackle in the country. Scout.com also rates him three-stars and has him ranked as the 40th best OT.

Ward is the latest “Dream Team” recruit to commit to Mark Richt and the Bulldogs. Tight end Jay Rome and cornerback Malcolm Mitchell committed to Georgia last week.
