Kicker Marshall Morgan Commits to Georgia for 2012
The Georgia Bulldogs have picked up their second verbal commitment for the 2012 class. Kicker Marshall Morgan of Miami, Florida has committed to the Dawgs.
Wide receiver C.J. Curry was the first 2012 verbal commitment for Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs in October.
Marshall (6-3, 195) plays for Archbishop McCarthy in Miami, Florida. As a junior, he made 15-of-16 field goals (long of 53 yards) and converted eight over 43 yards. He committed to UGA over offers from Florida, Florida State and Virginia Tech.
Marshall also handles the punting and averaged 43 yards per kick. Georgia coaches have told him that he will have the opportunity to punt and kick for the Dawgs.
