Gerald Robinson, Jr. and Travis Leslie each scored 17 points to lead the Hoop Dawgs over the Mississippi State Bulldogs 86-64.

Robinson and Leslie led four Bulldogs that scored in double-figures. Trey Thompkins scored 15 and Jeremy Price added 11 off of the bench.

Georgia trailed in the opening minutes 3-0, but quickly gained the lead and never trailed again. The Dawgs led by 13 at half and kept the Bulldogs from the SEC West at bay the remainder of the game. Georgia also outrebounded State 43-21 and had 15 offensive rebounds.

This was the second 22-point victory by UGA over a team from Mississippi. Georgia beat Ole Miss last weekend in Oxford 98-76.

The win improves Georgia to 14-4 overall and 3-2 in the SEC. The Bulldogs are currently in second place in the SEC East and trail Florida and South Carolina by a half a game.

Several football recruits were at the game, including Isaiah Crowell and Jonathan Jenkins. They were being hosted by Mark Richt and Todd Grantham.

Next up for Georgia is a home game against the Florida Gators on Tuesday, January 25. The game will be televised by ESPN at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Gators are tied for the lead in the SEC East at 3-1 (14-4 overall).
