DB Damian Swann commits to the Dawgs

Defensive back Damian Swann of Atlanta, Georgia (Grady High School) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs today at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Swann is Georgia’s 17 commitment for 2011.

Swann (6-0, 175) committed to UGA over Alabama and USC. He has offers from all the top schools, including Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon and Virginia Tech.

Rivals.com rates Swann as a four-star recruit and the no. 8 athlete in the country. Scout.com also ranks him as a four-star recruit and the 6th best cornerback in the nation.
