5-star Recruit Ray Drew Commits to Georgia, Joins “Dream Team”
5-star recruit Ray Drew has verbally committed to Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs. Drew announced his decision moments ago at his high school in Thomasville.
Drew (6-5, 243) committed to UGA over offers from top schools including Auburn, Clemson, LSU and Miami (FL).
Rivals.com rates Drew as a five-star recruit, the no. 9 overall recruit and the no. 1 weakside defensive end in the country. Scout.com also rates Drew five-stars and has him ranked as the 6th best DE.
Drew is the latest “Dream Team” recruit to commit to the Dawgs for 2011. Georgia’s class now stands at 23 with several big names still out there, including Isaiah Crowell, Johnathan Jenkins, Jeoffrey Pagan, Antonio Richardson and Marcus Roberson.
