2010-11 Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Schedule Released


The 2010-11 Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Schedule was officially released by UGA today. The first game of the 2010-11 season will be an exhibition game Friday, November 5 against Augusta State in Athens.

The first regular-season game for the Dawgs will be at home against Mississippi Valley State on Friday, November 12. Georgia then hosts Colorado before traveling to Saint Louis.

After facing the Billikens, the Dawgs will travel to Orlando to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the first round of the 2010 Old Spice Classic. Georgia is guaranteed three games in that tournament. The other participants include Boston College, California, Manhattan, Temple, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.

Other high profile non-conference games include Georgia Tech in Atlanta on December 7 and home against Xavier on February 8.

The 2011 SEC season opener for the Dawgs will be at Stegeman Coliseum against the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, January 8 (4:00 p.m. – SEC Network).

All 16 of Georgia’s 2011 SEC games will be televised, either on ESPN2, ESPNU, FSN, CSS or the SEC Network.

The 2011 SEC Tournament will be held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and begins on Thursday, March 10.
