Basketball: Georgia to Host Xavier in February 2011

The Georgia Bulldogs will host the Xavier Musketeers in Athens at Stegeman Coliseum in February 2011, multiple sources have reported.

The news was first reported by UGASports.com, who indicated that Xavier coach Chris Mack had announced the game via Twitter. The game was also confirmed today by Cincinnati.com.

Georgia and Xavier have met two times and are tied at one game each. In their first ever meeting on December 29, 1983, Georgia topped Xavier 73-30 in Athens. In the 2007 NCAA Tournament, the Musketeers beat the Bulldogs 73-61.
