The last place SEC West LSU Tigers beat the last place SEC East Georgia Bulldogs 50-48 on Saturday. The Dawgs finish the 2009-10 regular season with a dismal 0-11 record on the road and 0-8 in the SEC.
Trey Thompkins led the Bulldogs with 19 points, 16 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals. Travis Leslie had a disappointing game, scoring only 7 points and committing 6 turnovers.
On Thursday, Georgia plays Arkansas in the first round of the 2010 SEC Tournament. The Razorbacks defeated UGA in Athens 72-68 in February. The game will be televised by the SEC Network at 8:45 p.m. ET.
