Missouri Tigers Roll Over Hoop Dawgs 89-61

Just four minutes into the game, Trey Thompkins picked up his second personal foul. It was all downhill from there as the Missouri Tigers rolled over the Georgia Bulldogs 89-61. Travis Leslie led the Dawgs with 18 points and 5 rebounds.
In front of an announced crowd of 13,336, Missouri shot an incredible 66 percent in the first half. And to top that off, Thompkins picked up his third foul of the game with just under five minutes remaining in the half. The Tigers led the Bulldogs at the half 46-28.
Thompkins fouled out with 6:37 remaining in the game. His early foul trouble limited him to only 16 minutes on the floor. Not having your best player on the floor and committing 23 turnover under heavy pressure contributed to the lopsided loss.
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs (7-5) will host in-state rival Georgia Tech (11-2) at Stegeman Coliseum. The game will be televised by CSS at 7:00 p.m. ET.
