Georgia Tops UNC-Asheville 79-58

Georgia defeated UNC-Asheville 79-58 yesterday at Stegeman Coliseum to improve their record to 2-2. Ricky McPhee led the Dawgs with 20 points. He was 4-for-5 from behind the arc.

Travis Leslie scored 17 points and Trey Thompkins added 16 for the Hoop Dawgs. Albert Jackson came off the bench to score 10 points and grab 6 rebounds.

Next up for Georgia is a home game against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
