Georgia Loses To Wofford 60-57
There was no miracle three-point shot at the buzzer this year. Georgia struggled from the free-throw line and failed to convert some late chances as they fell to the Wofford Terriers 60-57.
The Hoop Dawgs were 11-for-20 from the free throw line, and Dustin Ware had a big miss with :06 left that could have tied the game.
Travis Leslie led the Dawgs with 17 points. Trey Thompkins had his second consecutive double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
The Bulldogs, now 1-1 on the season, travel to face the UAB Blazers on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
