Georgia Defeats New Orleans 67-59

Georgia defeated New Orleans 67-59 on Friday in their season-opener at Stegeman Coliseum, giving Mark Fox his first win as the new head coach of the Bulldogs.

Trey Thompkins led the Hoop Dawgs with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Jeremy Price came off the bench to add 12 points. Seven other players scored for the Bulldogs, but none were in double-figures.

Next up for Georgia is a home game against the Wofford Terriers on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
