Bulldogs Blank Tennessee Tech 38-0
Georgia rushed for a season-high 304 yards en route to a 38-0 homecoming win over Tennessee Tech. The Dawgs improved to 5-4 overall (3-3 SEC).
Caleb King got the start at running back, but it was true freshman Washaun Ealey who did the damage. Ealey rushed 7 times for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns. King rushed 12 times for 71 yards, while Branden Smith rushed 3 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, the Georgia defense put in a good effort against the Golden Eagles, although they are an FCS team. Tech was held to -13 yards rushing, 55 total yards and 0 points.
Next up for the Dawgs is a big home game against the Auburn Tigers on Saturday. The win would go a long way towards improving Georgia’s bowl options.
