On Wednesday, December 23, 2009, the Georgia Bulldogs will host the Florida Atlantic Owls at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens. The game was confirmed on Friday when FAU released their official 2009-10 schedule.
We have added the game against FAU to our tentative 2009-10 Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Schedule. The Hoop Dawgs now have five confirmed dates on the schedule: New Orleans, at UAB, UNC-Asheville, St. John’s and FAU.
Florida Atlantic, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, finished last season with a dismal 6-26 record and an even worse RPI of 313 (CollegeRPI.com).
The Owls are coached by Mike Jarvis, formerly of George Washington University (1990-98) and St. John’s University (1998-03). Jarvis is in his 2nd season at FAU.
