Linebacker B.J. Butler commits to Georgia
Outside linebacker B.J. Butler of Kissimmee, Florida (Osceola High School) has verbally committed to Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs. Butler is the 4th commitment for the Dawgs for 2010.
Butler (6-3, 240, 4.65) committed to UGA over offers from several top schools including Alabama, Auburn, Colorado State, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech and UCF.
As a Junior, Butler played on both sides of the ball for Osceola. At quarterback, he passed for over 500 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also played some defensive end and had 35 tackles and three sacks.
