Dawgs Pick Up Commitments From Marc Deas and Kolton Houston
The Georgia Bulldogs have picked up two football commitments for 2010. Safety Marc Deas of Kissimmee, Florida and offensive lineman Kolton Houston of Buford, Georgia have verbally committed to Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs. Deas and Houston are the 2nd and 3rd commitments for the Dawgs for 2010.
Deas (6-0, 185, 4.48) committed to UGA over offers from Kentucky and UCF and interest from Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State and Rutgers. As a junior, he recorded over 100 tackles on defense and 6 touchdowns on offense.
Houston (6-5, 270) committed to the Dawgs over offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Kolton’s father, Shane Houston, played linebacker at the University of Georgia in the late 1980’s.
