Senior Terrence Woodbury scored a career-high 32 points to lead the Georgia Bulldogs to an 88-86 upset victory over the Florida Gators in Athens. The win was the first for Georgia in SEC play this year. It also snapped an 11-game losing skid and an 11-game losing streak against the Gators.

Woodbury was on fire in the first half with 20 points. He shot 7-for-7 from the field, including 5-for-5 on 3-points shots and ended the half with 20 points. In the second half, Woodbury cooled off a little, shooting 2-for-6 (2-for-2 on 3-pointers) and made six free-throws.

The deciding basket was made by Zac Swansey with 2:57 remaining. He put the Dawgs up 86-84, and then Trey Thompkins scored 59 seconds left to seal the win for Georgia.

This was a great TEAM victory for the struggling Georgia Bulldogs. It shows that with good teamwork, shooting, discipline and defense, the Georgia Bulldogs basketball program is still capable of being a strong program. And what better way to make that statement than with a win over the Gators!  Woof woof!
